Sorry for the delay in getting this news to you but I’ve been working hard to rectify our issues but unfortunately with no success.
About a month ago I had a serious house fire at home resulting in us only having the clothes we had on our back.
At this point I emailed my landlord to tell him my rent was going to be a bit late as I had to look after my family as we had nothing but the cloths we were stood in.
I paid the rent 14 days later and within the 21 days allowed within the lease.
The landlord decided to forfeit the lease and change the locks.
Obviously I’ve taken legal advice and challenged the landlord with no joy.( at the minute)
It then became clear his game plan,
He would allow me to sell the business but not let me in without a lengthy court battle.
I’ve been in discussion with a company to take over and all was going well until they met the landlord and he massively increased the rent.
He has also taken the Cheescake shop rent off me and is holding my machines Ransom.All along it’s been about money and hitting me whilst I’m down.
At this point I have to pass it to my Solictor to deal with and I’ve not got a clue how long it will take or if we will ever re open.
I really appreciate your patience and your business over the years .
I appreciate some people will have a go at me as people do.
Your direct debits can be frozen until we see what happens or you can cancel them .
People who have paid in advance I’ve no access to the gym or machines or money to do anything about this at the moment.
I’m not going to be answering a million questions on here as me and my family are going through some tough times.
