Hello, folks! We are now launching another exciting walking trip of the semester to the Monsal Trail🥳

The Monsal Trail is a well-known route in the Peak District and stretches through spectacular limestone dales with incredible views from places such as the iconic Headstone Viaduct (as often seen from Monsal Head).

The trail also follows the former Manchester to London Midland Railway line which was closed in the late 1960s.

Our walking trip finishes in Bakewell, which sits on the banks of the river Wye and is the biggest town in the Peak District National Park. The town has mellow stone buildings, a medieval five-arched stone bridge, and quaint courtyards, and is renowned for Bakewell Pudding.
