2026 JDS Machinery Rali Ceredigon. A round of the European Rally Championship based in Aberystwyth,Wales. Our second trip to Wales in the last week alone with The Mewla Rally at Epynt only the weekend before. What can we say about this rally? Well it's definitely a big one being part of the ERC,our rally started on the Wednesday before the rally with two very full days of recce. Each day was about twelve hours so very long tiring days! π₯΄ Probably amongst the most demanding closed road rallies you can do in the UK. It's known to be a rally which demands everything from the crew with both very fast flat out sections and also very technical twisty parts too. The rally started in the dark on Friday night with four stages. To say we were a bit rusty with the night stages would be an understatement! The first two stages were right in the centre of Aberystwyth which is great for spectators. Got through these stages ok with no real problems to speak of. Saturdays stages saw the crews tackle seven stages. Still learning the car with only having it for two weeks but these stages are definitely a tough test. Last day of the rally on Sunday with four stages. SS13 the first one of the day we made a mistake 2.5 miles into the stage at the end of the virtual chicane. Just came into a slippy hairpin left a bit too quickly and nosed on into a telegraph pole. Damaged the bumper and cracked the radiator. Disappointing end to our rally but these things happen,we just have to learn from it. Very very happy with the new car,the performance of it is superb. It's us that is the weak link atm as we're still getting to grips with it. Believe we've made progress this weekend with the valuable seat time.
