Only a couple more days to go until the 2026 - International Kendo Seminar.

We are lucky enough to be hosting the seminar in Leeds, for the first time this year and look forward to welcoming everyone attending to Leeds, the Royal Armouries and Do Shin Ken Yu Kai.

Hope everyone is looking forward to it, and we are looking forward to seeing everyone.

We hope you all enjoy the Seminar, and wish everyone good luck if you are Grading 😬🤞

Whether you’re a beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, Kendo offers the perfect challenge. Build confidence, improve your focus, and train both body and mind while wielding a bamboo sword with purpose. 🥋💥

O’Donnell Sensei, myself & Mark T (Sorry Debz for not mentioning you. As you already practice up there I was at a loss how to include you. So here is your shout out 🤣) we’re lucky enough to be invited up to a Keiko in Newcastle over the weekend.

4 hours, of very good practice with experienced kendoka. I know everyone, got alot out of the day.

Great to see old friends and make new.

Thank you to everyone, who attended for the help, advice and great Keiko.

High grade extended keiko session held this weekend.
Many thanks to our friend’s from Leeds, York, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Glasgow for joining us.

Reminder there is no Keiko tomorrow due to an event at the Armouries.

However, we are taking this opportunity to meet up for a curry at the Mumtaz - Leeds and maybe a couple of beers afterwards 🍻

See the Dojo WhatsApp for more info.

Whilst the other half is away, and the weather is lovely.

Another weekend of gradings, and I am happy to say another grading success.

This time for Steve Corder, who successfully passed his Sandan over the weekend in Stoke-On-Trent.

Congratulations, Steve !!! Very well deserved, and all the extra effort and Keiko clearly paid off.

Congratulations, to all our friends in who also passed and commiserations to those were not successful.
