Well well what a game that was ⚽️

Match review

So MND didn’t have the best of starts to the game formation didn’t help which Leeds central took advantage of early on by scoring 2 early goals then was given a penalty which was given away by Reggie the keeper for wiping out the attacker but Reggie made up for it by saving the penalty 🧤 which kept the scoreline at 2-0 then MND came back goals back by Wayne joughin scoring a penalty at the other end and then with Rui Ferreira scoring a goal back which brought to 2-2

MND went in at half time after changes that was made which made us stronger which the second half we was the far better side some really nice passing play happening some physicality which we lacked in the 1st half goals in the second half coming from Bobby best Damien Mcphail scoring 2 goals on hes debut Luke Hattersley scoring another 2 goals then Lee Gregory scoring on he’s debut ⚽️

The Summer Cup is BACK! ☀️🏆
After a successful first year, the Summer Cup returns bigger and better this season — now expanded to 8 teams. Meet the clubs competing for this year’s crown:

⚽ Bridge Community FC – Returning from last year’s competition, a fantastic community club supporting unaccompanied asylum seekers.

⚽ Drighlington Juniors A.F.C – New to the SMFL this season and enjoyed an impressive campaign, reaching the League Cup semi-finals.

⚽ Leeds Central F.C. – A young and talented side competing in the Leeds Community Football League with plenty of quality throughout the squad.

⚽ Leeds Huaren FC – Back to defend their title after lifting the trophy in last year’s competition.

⚽ LS27 FC 23’s – The new boys on the block, looking to make a strong statement in their first spell as an open-age side.

⚽ Morley Bridge Street FC – The last hurrah before transitioning into the LS27 FC First Team.

⚽ Newsam Utd – Another strong side from the Leeds Community Football League who will be hoping to build momentum ahead of next season with a deep Summer Cup run.

⚽ Wigton Moor FC – Competed last year and will be determined to improve on that showing. A very dangerous side on their day.
