⚽ VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY – GENERAL SECRETARY ⚽
The Leeds & District Football Association is looking to appoint a Volunteer General Secretary to join our Executive Committee and play a key role in helping lead and develop the Association.
This is an important position at the heart of the LDFA, working alongside fellow Executive Committee members to ensure the Association is well organised, effectively governed and continues to move forward.
Key responsibilities include:
📋 Managing the day-to-day administration of the Association
📧 Managing correspondence and acting as a key point of contact for clubs, leagues, County FA and other organisations
📅 Preparing for and supporting regular Executive Committee and Association meetings
📝 Overseeing agendas, minutes, records and other Association documentation
⚽ Supporting the administration and development of grassroots football across the district
🏆 Working with the District Cup team to support the successful delivery of our competitions
🤝 Maintaining positive relationships with clubs, leagues, referees, other District FAs and the County FA
💡 Working with the Executive Committee to bring forward new ideas and help drive the Association forward
We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised and a good communicator, with the enthusiasm to become actively involved in the future of the Leeds & District FA.
The role may particularly suit someone already involved in grassroots football through a club, league, refereeing or football administration, although this is not essential.
