For those sites with pools, the swim times for the May Day Bank Holiday are now available on the website and the app will be updated Sunday ahead of them changing over the following morning.

‌Please be reminded there will be no Aquatics/Gymnastics/Tennis lessons on this date.

🚶‍♀️We Walk for Yorkshire 2026 🚶‍♀️
This May we're joining people across Yorkshire who are coming together to raise money for vital research that will help save lives in Yorkshire.
Every 17 minutes, someone in Yorkshire is told they have cancer. People are more likely to be diagnosed with cancer in Yorkshire than in most other parts of England and, tragically, too many people die.
This May, I would like to help change this, by taking part in We Walk for Yorkshire to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research. Thanks to supporters, the charity funds vital research and pioneers innovative new services for people with cancer.
Every step counts and every pound I am able to raise will help save lives in Yorkshire.

👉 Leeds gyms team up with pioneering disability fitness app 👈

Leeds City Council and Active Leeds leisure centres are partnering with a Paralympian-founded fitness app to make fitness and physical activity more inclusive across the city.

The first ever disability-focused fitness app, AccesserCise provides users with exercises and tailored guidance for their disability. It shows bespoke content and videos are presented by a person with the same impairment as the user. It currently has seven main categories of impairments but this will be expanded to cover more in future.

Ali Jawad, Paralympian and co-founder of Accessercise, said: “This partnership is about making inclusive fitness the norm, not the exception."

Active Leeds staff have received training from Ali on how the app works and can assist gym members who are wanting to try the app for themselves (not available during unmanned hours). Through the partnership all Active Leeds members can download the app and save exercises and workouts.
