As speculation continues for Leeds United in the summer transfer window, we're looking for new players to join Amaranth Crossgates for the season ahead.

Our Under 15 Girls team, under 13's (two teams) and Open Age (Sundays) are seeking players to bolster their squads.

Amaranth is a well established, family friendly club - if you are looking for a new club or interested in joining us, please get in touch with the relevant manager.

We urgently need to recruit a new Club Secretary for the coming season.

This is a voluntary role and we would prefer someone with an association to the club to join us - but you don't have to be a coach or manager - in fact it would help if you weren't so you have time to commit to the role.

The role of secretary acts a link between the leagues, County FA and the club and teams. It would suit someone who is well organised and can find their way around email - and wants to get involved in the club.

Volunteering for a community club like Amaranth is deeply rewarding - we need someone that will see if more like a hobby than a chore.

The amount of time is mixed - some weeks it can be very quiet and another time there can be three or four things to sort out. We meet six times a year for a managers meeting (Monday nights) and we are a friendly and helpful bunch.

No experience necessary at all - we will support you.

There's still time to get involved in the Amaranth World Cup Sweepstake!!

As some of you already know, we launched this at Presentation Day on Saturday and had some interest on the day, however we are yet to fill all the teams. (There are some great/favourites still in the mix!! 😲)

There is one for adults priced at £5 per team and one for kids priced at £2 per team. The prizes are all on the rules sheets which are included in the photos on this post.
On the adults one you can still win if your team doesn't make it through the group stages!!!

We had lots of people on Saturday expressing interest who 'had no cash' on the day. So let's make it fully accessible to all and do it on here, with bank transfers for payments.

If you would like a go then simply pick a number from the photo attached (white boxes are still available) then WhatsApp it to us on 07731020437 and we'll arrange payment and confirm your team.

For the past two seasons, Amaranth has run at a small loss and without the extra money raised at our sponsored walk, we'd be reliant on dipping in to our reserves to help pay for the running of the club. We are a not for profit organisation and all monies raised are pumped back in to the club.
