We train on Wednesday evenings where we run from The Springs in Crossgates (weds)

Mon club training- 6.30-7.30pm TN track in summer
Tues - walking group 7pm
Wed club run all club - from 7pm

🏅TRACK RESTORATION FUND RUN 10K: SUNDAY 9TH AUGUST 👟

Make sure you add the track restoration medal to your collection and more importantly contribute to the wellness of the track. Entries are £20-£22 and there’s also a junior race too (more details to come!)

Not only is the medal a goodie but we’ll have The Leeds Warrior himself Josh Warrington opening the race. Starting at the track and continuing through the grounds of Temple Newsam the race has beautiful views throughout with a mixture of trail and paths. It’s not to be missed!

👟 CROSSGATES HARRIERS x LIQUID I.V.👟

As runners hydration is key and we were lucky enough to receive a batch of .uk just as marathon training for a lot of our members started.

Used for club runs and training sessions we got marathon and race ready while keeping hydrated. Thank you Liquid I.V. 💦

Huge well done to everyone who came along to last nights session. Fartleks in the sunshine, track work, and an amazing atmosphere with everyone supporting each other from start to finish. The track is having some maintenance done this week so we timed this just right!

This month’s award goes to Crossgates Harriers’ very own Forrest Gump... Luke!
Luke set himself an incredible challenge: 4 marathons in 4 weeks. Not only did he take on the challenge, but he absolutely smashed it, showing outstanding commitment, determination, and resilience throughout the month. An achievement like this takes serious dedication, both physically and mentally, and Luke has been an inspiration to everyone at the club.
Congratulations, Luke – a thoroughly deserved Runner of the Month award! 🎉🏅

⭐️ HARRIERS HIGHLIGHTS: MAY ⭐️
It’s the month we turned 40 and we had celebrations with a special lakes trip and big party. But back to the running: we more than covered over 40 miles with harriers racing at Manchester half marathon, a track half and full marathon, GRIM cakeathon, Apperley Bridge Canter, Edinburgh half, Punk Panther ultra, Pontefract 10k, Leeds half and marathon, Piglove by the river and Bluebell 10 trail. We also had members with a big 250 park run milestone and completing 4 marathons over 4 weeks. Throw in the weekly track sessions, club runs and an 80s park run takeover and it’s been a jam packed month 🍓

👏🏻GUARD OF HONOUR👏🏻
We started the Guard of Honour a little while back, celebrating our marathon heroes achieving those well earned medals. The last five weeks have been busy for our tradition: Brighton, Manchester, London, Tempsey Track and Leeds all included in our superstars walk of fame 🏅
