This weekend, we need your support in trying to help Rob Burrow win at the National Television Awards next Thursday, 9th September, live on ITV 1.

Rob’s documentary My Year with MND has been nominated in the documentary section and is up against some tough competition. Rob is travelling down to the awards with his family and it would be incredible to see them win the award plus it puts Rob’s fight against MND back on the national stage.
If you can do one or all three of the following over the weekend it would be much appreciated:

Vote – you can vote for free at www.nationaltvawards.com you go through each category one by one, Rob’s is the fourth, if you don’t want to vote on the others there is a ‘Skip Category’ option at the top of the page. Go through each category then simply add your name and email address and click Submit. You can only vote once per email address but you can vote as many times as you have email address so get the whole house involved!

Leeds Rugby are currently looking to recruit a part time Receptionist to work in Headingley Lodge.
Headingley Lodge is situated at Emerald Headingley Stadium in Leeds and boasts a 4 star (accommodation only) rating. The role holder will report to the Lodge Manager and assist in providing a positive experience for all guests that stay in the Lodge.
As the first point of contact for our guests you will be highly customer focused and have excellent communication skills. Your duties will include greeting customers on arrival and assisting with their queries, handling incoming telephone calls, and processing payments for bookings. You will be able to work using your own initiative and have strong interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable with a knowledge of the Rezlynx Booking System (part of Guestline) and Microsoft Outlook, however, training will be provided for the successful candidate.
The part time role requirement is 24 hours per week, the shifts will be either 7am – 3pm or 3pm -11pm and you may also be required to work the occasional night shift. The shift pattern will include weekend working.
The role will be part time initially with a potential to be full time later in the year.
The salary for the role will be dependent on your skills, experience and current qualifications.

Dear Guests

As we are sure you will appreciate, the onset of COVID-19 virus is a challenge to us all in the hospitality sector and we want to reassure you that the health and wellbeing of all our guests at Headingley Lodge as well as our team are our top priority and we want to reassure you of the diligence of our approach.

We are of course closely monitoring the daily changing Government guidelines and following their instructions accordingly.
As a business we always operate the highest standards of hygiene and whilst there are no reported cases of the virus amongst our guests or any of the Headingley Lodge team at present, here's what we are doing to ensure we can protect you as much as possible:
• If you are not feeling great we ask you to postpone your visit with us until you’re feeling better.
• We ask for your help in washing your hands thoroughly as often as possible.
• We are cleaning and sanitising all touched surfaces i.e. door handles, cloakrooms etc. as often as possible.

We are monitoring the health of every employee closely. Any team member that presents symptoms, however mild, will not be entering Headingley Lodge for 14 days.

We both value your business and want to help you as much as we can - currently our cancellation policy stands at the usual 24 hour period, however if you do fall ill and need to cancel your visit within the 24 hour period we would ask that you contact us by telephone on 0113 2033893 so that we can offer some clarification on the options available - it is in all our interests to be as flexible as possible during these extraordinary times.

This is not an easy time for anyone at the moment, it is an unprecedented dynamic situation and will continue to evolve. For now it is very much business as usual.
