🚨 Match Report 🚨
Coach Chris:
Today we saw our team host Queensbury for the first time, my team consisted of Heidi, Jacob B, Jacob N, Caleb, Malaki, Xander, Josh. Our first game we started off slow in defence allowing the opposition to score 2 quick tries, but we soon got into our stride and began to dominate the game by scoring 5 amazing tries or our own, in the second game we picked up where we left off in the first game and dominated in attack and defence. I was extremely proud of how the playmakers took charge of the game and organised the team around with some amazing support play by Malaki, Caleb, Jacob B, Heidi and Josh which led to some great tries being scored. In defence our line speed was good with some strong tackles going in from the whole team. I know my team worked hard as Caleb asked if he could have a rest as he was "knackered" 🤣
Coach Amir:
Today saw us take on a new team in Queensbury. My team consisted of Roman, Tobias, Jordey, Isaac, Louie, Bjorn, Edward and Zac. With the opposition starting with the ball the boys started slow, conceding 2 quick tries. This meant they had to dig deep to take control of the game. They did this with some great runs from all the forwards, making valuable yards for the backs to work on the moves. The boys got back into the game and took the lead with some great defence and attacking options. In our second game the kids started fast themselves and getting them a good lead the kids made sure the opposition didn’t get many chances to get over the line, some great rugby played by both teams today
