T-UK Leeds Mondays & Thursdays 6:00 - 7.30 pm

All levels welcome. We're an ITF Taekwon-Do club based in Farsley, Leeds. All abilities are welcome.

Whether you are a complete beginner or the next Bruce Lee. Taekwon-Do is a Korean martial art known for its dynamic kicking techniques but also its hand techniques such as blocks, punches and strikes. In the classes we will be teaching technique, patterns, self defence and sparring. Patterns are a series of movements that are performed as though there is an opponent to defend against. Practicing p

atterns develops technique and increases strength. These techniques are put into practice during sparring. All sparring is semi-contact and the aim is to score points. Sparring is great for fitness and develops speed and stamina. Self defence is used to apply the techniques learnt in class to the real world. This teaches students how to get out of situations safely. If you need any more information or have any questions get in touch!

During one of the hottest summers I can remember, T-UK Leeds pick one of the very few rainy days for our summer BBQ. But.....with 2 big gazebos and a great group of people, we all had a fantastic day. Thanks to Sarah and Johnny for hosting (and in particular Johnny for his BBQ skills) and thank to Emma for helping with all the food prep. Finally, thanks to everyone who attended. You guys make this club and it was great to see everyone having a great time, despite the weather 🥋👊👍

Great day at the T-UK National Open Championships. Not too many entered this time round but those who did performed extremely well. Gold in sparring and silver in pattern for Hayton, silver in sparring and bronze in pattern for Haylea, bronze in sparring for Idrees and a silver in sparring for Oleks. Great job by Emma also running a square. All in all a really good day. Hopefully more in next time. 🥋👊👍

So grateful for the team stepping up the last couple of weeks. I have had glandular fever and the club numbers are starting to fall as summer approaches but never the less, the seniors have stepping in to help me and have done a great job to boot. Cat and Oleks have covered Mondays and Emma and Adam have covered Thursdays. Thanks guys.
