At our Academy, we teach authentic Wing Chun Kung Fu: a practical, efficient martial art designed for real-world self-defence. No flashy moves, no need for big muscles - just smart techniques that work. If you’re a beginner just starting out, or just looking to start something new, Wing Chun is accessible, adaptable, and perfect for adults over 17 who want to build confidence and skill.

Our Leeds classes are on Monday Evenings 7.30 - 9pm at St Stephens Church Hall, Norman Street, Kirkstall.

We also have classes in York, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Private tuition also available.

The RWCA is a Wing Chun Kung Fu academy based in the North East of England, with classes in Leeds and York

Kung-fu (功夫) cannot be achieved in a single day. After a long period of continuous hard work, one will develop some “Kung-fu,” and the longer one endures this process, the more Kung-fu one will acquire. Just like a lump of iron ore smelted and hammered day after day, it is gradually transformed into pure steel.
