Sunday league football team in the Leeds Combination League playing out of the Old Hall pub in Farsley. Established 2022.

04/10/2026

We went down 2-0 to Thorpe United this morning in the County Cup. We’d have won comfortably on another day, we just couldn’t get the ball in the net. Fair play to Thorpe who took their chances well when they came.

Man of the Match: Taylor Thompson
Dick of the Day: Chris Brown

We are in County Cup action on Sunday as we host Thorpe United from the York League on Stanningley Park. They look to be going well in their league and with us winning 3 out of 3 so far it should be a very good game.

All support welcome, 11am KO.

We made it 3 wins out of 3 this morning as we beat Headingley 6-2 on Stan Park. We started well going 1-0 up before a red card saw us down to 10 men after only 10 minutes played. The lads response couldn’t have been better though and we went in 3-0 at half time, adding a fourth shortly after. Headingley had a spell where they pulled 2 goals back but that woke us back up and we scored another 2 to kill off any doubts.

Great team performance today up against it, we could have scored a few more hitting the woodwork and creating several other chances but we got the 3 points most importantly.

Man of the Match: Alfie Dawes
Dick of the Day: Nathan Dawkins

After no game last week we’re back in action on Sunday as we take on familiar opponents Headingley Rovers in our first home game of the season.

Had some really good games with these down the years, sure this will be no different.

All support welcome on Stanningley Park, 11am KO.

No game for us this weekend as Leeds 1888 can’t field a team which is a shame given the start we’ve made and it only been the 3rd game of the season. Was meant to be the District Cup so a forfeit should mean a bye into the next round but we will see what they decide!

We made it 2 wins from 2 this morning as we won 6-2 away at Pudsey. Slow start in the first 15 or so but once we got going we looked pretty comfortable and created a lot of chances, Pudseys keeper had a great game for them to be fair made some good saves. Was 6-0 up with 10 to go and conceded 2 sloppy goals but another good win and performance from all lads.

Man of the Match: Stoney
Dick of the Day: Fisher

On the road again Sunday as we travel to Headingley to take on Pudsey Town at their new home at the Uni in what will be a very competitive game on the 4G. Hopefully we can bring all 3 points with us back to Farsley!

All support welcome

We come away winners after a hard fought game at Old Farnley this morning. Lads showed a lot of heart and desire being 3-2 and 4-3 down to claim all three points. Fair play to Farnley, can’t see many teams coming away with 3 points at their place, tough place to go. But credit to all lads today, been a hard couple of years and to fight like that for each other was really good to see.

Man of the Match: Stoney
Dick of the Day: Cammy
