The Yorkshire German Shepherd Dog Training Camping Trip is packed with lots of fun activities for both you and your dogs. All are welcome, there is something for all levels and there are plenty of instructors and helpers on hand to help you all have a fantastic time.
We arrive on Friday afternoon, you get yourselves settled in and we try to arrange a fish and chip supper. We then gather in the marquee for drinks and fun. There is usually a quiz of some form or another.
We start Saturday with a delicious cooked breakfast, lovingly prepared by our team of highly skilled and prize winning chefs. Well, they've won some prizes, but they were nothing to do with their culinary skills!
On Saturday there are some fun activities, we offer agility coaching and there are opportunities to explore the lovely Yorkshire countryside. We run tracking and trailing lessons and give you a go at scent detection.
In the evening there is a chance to relax with a cold beer, glass of wine and enjoy a BBQ, once again prepared by our highly skilled catering team. We then gather in the marquee for more drinks, nibbles, a few games an a lot of laughs and Micky taking.
For those whom the thought of camping is not a good one, we will be offering places for day visitors, you'll be able to come along and have a go at the activities, join the BBQ on the Saturday evening and then go back to the comfort of your own beds. Or like Wayne Felton, probably end up kipping in your car, with two GSDs! 😃
All in all, the camping weekend is a fun filled opportunity to see how amazingly capable your dog is, have a lot of fun along the way, and make lots of new friends.
