Beckett Hockey are wearing pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month 💗

We’re showing our support for everyone going through treatment, the survivors, and the friends and family by their side.

Take a minute to check your chest regularly and get to know what’s normal for you. If you notice anything new or different, don’t wait: see your GP

And lads, this one’s for you too. Breast cancer in men is a lot rarer, but around 1 in every 100 cases in the UK is in men, so check yourselves as well🎀

BUCS WEDNESDAYS ARE BACK💜

The wait is over and we’re so excited to get the new season underway! Our 1s travel to Newcastle, the 2s welcome Lancaster at home, the 3s head to Uni of, the 4s travel to Northumbria and our Devs make the trip to Sheffield.

It’s lovely to have everyone back out on the pitch, representing LBUHC and doing what we love.

Here’s to a new season full of hockey, new memories and plenty to be proud of. We can’t wait to see what the season brings for our club!

Best of luck to all five teams this weekend🏑💜

The men’s kicked of their pre season fixtures against uni of and what a day of results it was 💜

The 2s played first coming down from 2-0 to bring it back to 2-2! Two great drag flicks from our new freshers Dougie and the big man him self Throbbie secured the draw and the comeback!

After the 1s took to the field in an hard fought contest, Goals from Archie Offer and Sam Williams levelled the playing field and Will Hodgson in the last play of the game took us over the line for the win!

A great day out for the Men’s club and we bring on wednesday for our away day down to York
