Leeds St. Christopher's Cycling Club Come and join us on a Sunday run... Leeds St. Our aim is to promote cycling and to encourage people of all age groups to take up this healthy outdoor pursuit.

Christopher's Cycling Club is a traditional club, formed in 1938, with members participating and competing in all aspects of the pastime and sport. Regular Sunday runs are held weekly. We meet at the car park opposite Lawnswood Crematorium on the A660 Otley Road, Leeds 16. During the winter months (1st Oct to 31st Mar) we leave at 9:00am, and in summer (1st Apr to 30th Sept) we leave at 8:30am. Al

l runs are at a leisurely pace, suitable for all age groups. We believe that riding as a group is far safer than individually. A warm reception is offered to both young and old, novices and experienced cyclists. Why not join us! Non-members will be most welcome. Please note that under 16's must be accompanied by a responsible adult who will ride with them. The club is affiliated to British Cycling (BC) and the Cycling Time Trials (CTT) and members are encouraged to enroll as individual members of either British Cycling or the Cyclist Touring Club.

Friday 3rd July saw the biggest and most electric edition yet of the Ilkley Cycle Races, with more riders, more spectators, and a louder atmosphere than ever before as the town centre transformed into a high-speed circuit of elite cycling and community celebration.

Fans in the UK wanting to watch the Tour de France live for free have a lifeline in Welsh-language channel S4C.

Also available on BBC iPlayer, S4C will show live coverage of stages 1, 2, 3, 18, 19, 20 and 21. This means fans will be able to watch the key Grand Départ stages in Catalonia, and the denoument on Alpe d'Huez and in Paris, although coverage will obviously be in Welsh.

This season will be the first season in decades that the Tour will not be shown live, in full, on television for free in the UK. In 2025, it was revealed that ITV would no longer televise the Tour, the exclusive UK rights having been sold to Warner Bros Discovery (WBD), the parent company of TNT Sports.
