Final call for the return of last years championship trophies.
We need these back before half term to prepare them for this years event.
Please note, if you wish to have your trophy engraved then this is at your own cost. We did cover this cost as a one off last year as we were promised sponsorship.

Massive thanks to you all for the response to the mixed team gala post. We have now entered at least one team in every event which is amazing in just a few days.
We need one more boy to fill the teams, aged either 10 or 11.
Please either reply to this post or respond to the gala teams email if you can help fill the last slot.
Also, final reminder that next week is time trials for all large pool swimmers!

GALA SWIMMERS NEEDED!
Hi everyone, please see the email that is going out today regarding the A&W mixed team gala being held on 10th October.
We desperately need a minimum of 2 girls and 2 boys in the following age groups: 8/9, 10 and under, 11 and under.
Each event is a mixed team relay of 2 girls and 2 boys.
Swimmers can swim up an age group but must stick to that team for the entire event.
As it is a team event, entry is paid for by the club.
Please contact me or reply to the gala team on [email protected] as soon as possible. The deadline for entries is this coming weekend.
Thanks, Peter
(There is a team gala for older swimmers in late November)

Thanks to all our swimmers, volunteers, and parents that attended the A & W gala last Saturday.
Yet again we punched well above our weight and collected a host of medals.
Congratulations to Florence and Annabelle who both medalled at their first ever gala.
Massive thanks to Pamela Woollen Oddy for running the balcony entry and raffle.
Please keep an eye out for an email going out this afternoon regarding Time Trials.
