I’ve spent the last year looking for a replacement Service van for our field engineer as our current vehicle is now 3 ½ years old and due to our growth is now too small.
After searching every make & model I came to the conclusion that due to the “Current climate” that has hammered supply we were going to have to make do for another year or so and struggle on with what we’ve got.
I know of SMUK and have watched their growth over the years with some admiration having dealt with them on a number of occasions when I worked in the Heavy Goods dealer network some years ago.
I kept seeing Linkedin posts about their expansion into Welfare van conversions and more recently their Turn-Key solutions – a fully equipped mobile workshop ready go to straight to work on delivery to us.
Whilst it sounded too good to be true I made the call not for a minute thinking they’d be able to really help a small family business like us with just one service van, we all know SMUK really only deal with the big Blue chip companies and main dealers.
I couldn’t have been more wrong, I can’t praise Tom and his team highly enough.
From our first meeting when we discussed their standard layout with some bespoke additions to meet our specific requirements to the fully completed delivery date 3 weeks later, yes 3 weeks.
Our Brand new Transit mobile workshop is absolutely perfect for our job and the standard of workmanship is second to none.
The best “One stop shop” in the true sense of the phrase by a country mile.
