The war in Ukraine has been going on for a long time now. More pressing news and other crises have pushed the situation away from the headlines. Yesterday, the Black Sea coast of Ukraine was attacked again with Shahed drones, rockets and missiles, several exploding within the historical city centre. The photos below are of Odesa Art Gallery, which suffered a lot of damage last night. The Ukrainian soldiers, men and women, the young and the old, continue to die every day as the trench warfare has ground to a halt. To support the efforts of Ukraine's MEDEVAC, I am offering a Zoom Pilates stretch class every Sunday evening at 6pm, suggested donation £7. Stretching is not only enjoyable at the end of your busy weekend, but it can also bring a lot of physical and psychological benefits, as holding longer stretches improves circulation, quietens the mind and helps muscle tone, metabolism and digestion. The class will run if four people book in by the end of Saturday. Leave a comment below and I will add you to the WhatsApp group. All proceeds will go to Ukraine MEDEVAC volunteers, so that even if you don't fancy joining the class, feel free to donate! PayPal in the comments.
