A tricky green and top opposition.
We showed up and tried.

That concludes the bowls for New Farnley this year.

FULL HOUSE

What a way to finish the season and seal promotion.
A well done to Keith Skelton finishing 3rd in the averages. 🥉

A fantastic first year in a new league.

We play Dalton this afternoon for our last game of the season.
No matter the result today, it has been a fantastic season. Entering a new afternoon team into the Heavy Woollen League and looking to get second place. 🥈

Next week we wrap up the bowling season.

Monday is the last game for our Heavy Woollen team. At home to Dalton C & BC ‘B’.

Our ladies (and friends) have come together to represent the Leeds Ladies for the Victory cup. To be played on the 4th October. Any supporters would be much appreciated for our team taking on other league winners.

Battle of the blues. A close final, with just 9 points separating the winners from the losers. Not our day, but let’s go for three next year and finally get our win.

Whoever changed the venue a few weeks back, thank you.
A good decision as it’s a fantastic place to hold any final, which both teams agree on.

A special mention to Jason and Ryan who measured for us, and the hospitality from the whole of Holbeck Bowling Club

Thank you to those who came to watch and/or support us. Lovely to see some familiar faces around the green.

Well done to Stanningley Park Crown Green Bowling Club on winning the trophy (again 🙄😅) About time you handed it over I reckon. 😄

That’s it for our Saturday team. Start afresh next season. 2027 could be our year 🤞🏼🏆

It’s the day of the YEP div 1 Final. 🏆

We may be the underdogs, but we will give it our best. Get our hands and name back on that trophy. 🏆

2pm at Holbeck Bowling Club

On Saturday we are in the Final of the YEP cup.
Last year saw the same two teams battle it out at Middleton Community.

This year we are at Holbeck BC. Hoping take the trophy off of Stanningley. All support is appreciated, help us bring that trophy home. 🏆

1 game remains for our afternoon team.
A loss at Birkenshaw yesterday.
But still sit 142 points ahead of 3rd.

28th of September we are home, and we hope to be celebrating promotion in our first year of the Heavy Woollen Afternoon league.
