Hi, Iβm Charlotte Kent, a 4th Dan karate instructor with around 20 years of martial arts experience.
Karate has been a huge part of my life, and Iβm passionate about sharing that experience with children and adults of all ages. I love helping people develop their karate skills while also seeing the wider impact that martial arts can have on their lives.
For me, karate is about much more than learning techniques. I believe it can help build confidence, self-esteem, discipline, resilience and life skills that can be carried far beyond the dojo. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is watching students grow in confidence, overcome challenges and achieve things they may not have thought possible.
Over the years, I have trained in a variety of karate styles and in karate sport. I enjoy the competitive side of martial arts and the challenge of competition, but I also believe that karate should be fun. I love bringing fun, games and positive energy into my classes so that students can learn, develop and enjoy their karate journey.
As an instructor, my aim is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where everyone can feel proud of their progress, whatever their age, ability or goals. Whether someone wants to compete, improve their fitness, learn self-defence, build confidence or simply enjoy karate, I want to help them get the most out of their journey.
Iβm passionate about making a positive difference to every student I teach and helping them develop skills for life, both inside and outside of karate.
We are always welcoming new students, please drop a message if you would like more information π₯π€©
