KHV UPDATE / OTLEY POND !
So khv has been found to be the cause of the fish deaths at Otley pond near to knotford off pool road .
please don’t visit nunroyd if you have fished this venue , until you have thoroughly cleaned , disinfected and dried in sunlight your landing nets , mats and slings . Better still burn them and buy new .
Do not kill another fishery through pure laziness and ignorance !
Anyone found bringing wet equipment to nunroyd will be banned for life no exceptions, no excuses .

Due to the tidiness of the lake and how well it’s been going, under 16s are welcome to fish nunroyd, we appreciate it’s the school holidays and we want children to be the future of the lake, and fishing in general, please turn up to fish responsibly and consult a bailiff as he passes,

Please take litter home with you and be careful not leave any line around, memberships are available too message page for more info,

We’d like to thank the angling community for how well we’ve kept the lake recently

All anglers should take note

DO NOT BE LAZY!
This is what everyone should do before and after a fishing session on whatever lake , canal or river you may fish to kill any parasites or disease 🦠 .
Get your wet gear out and dry it out in the sun till it’s bone dry , should be no excuses but unfortunately some people don’t give a s@@@.

PLEASE BE AWARE, UNFORTUNATELY THERE HAS BEEN A SUSPECTED KHV OR SIMILAR OUTBREAK AT OTLEYS POND THE SMALL POND NEAR KNOTFORD NOOK ON POOL ROAD
OBVIOUSLY THAT POND IS CLOSED FOR NOW,AND EFFORTS ARE BEEN TAKEN TO SORT IT OUT.
ANYONE THAT FISHED THAT POND IN THE LAST FEW WEEKS,PLEASE BE AWARE,AND TAKE ALL EFFORTS TO DISINFECT ALL NETS AND MATS AND DRY IN THE SUN THOROUGHLY.
PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO ANYONE YOU THINK HAS FISHED IT RECENTLY. THANKS 👍

With immediate effect , Due to the continued littering by the minority around the pond all fishing members or day ticket must now be booked on via a simple message to this page , or a baliff . No more just turning up . Anyone not booked on will be asked to leave . Anyone found with litter/ line in their peg will be asked to put it in a bag and dispose of it properly . Anyone found littering will simply be banned , it’s not acceptable.
Day tickets will now be £10 per person for the use of upto 2 rods , barbless hooks only and you must have and use an unhooking mat .
Anyone who uses the online platform lake booking or catch does not have to book on as we already have your names and dates .
