Where it all began… ✨
This little cabin will always hold a special place in my heart.
Back in 2022, I graduated with a dream. I didn’t really know what it would look like or where it would take me — I just knew I wanted to give it a go.
Since then, that dream has changed and grown in ways I probably never imagined.
I’ve had my placement with Bradford Bulls, a fixed-term contract at Leeds United, worked as a physio assistant on a hospital ward, and quietly built my own little business alongside it all.
And through every bit of it, my family have been there. Cheering me on, keeping me grounded and believing in me, even on the days when I wasn’t entirely sure myself. 🥰
Not everyone has understood what I’ve been trying to build, and there have definitely been people who’ve doubted me along the way. But if anything, that’s just made me a bit more determined to keep going.
I’ve learnt that success looks different for everyone.
Some people love climbing the corporate ladder, and that’s brilliant. Others want to create something for themselves, have a bit more freedom, more time with family and a life that feels a little more balanced.
There’s room for all of it.
For me, I’ve somehow found my way back to the things I’ve always loved — sport, swimming, gymnastics, coaching and being part of a community.
Watching children grow in confidence through gymnastics coaching, seeing them achieve something they’ve worked really hard for, and now helping people feel stronger and better through Pilates, massage and wellness… that’s the bit that really means something to me.
I still don’t have it all figured out, and I don’t think I ever will.
But I’ve learnt that you don’t need to have your whole life mapped out. Sometimes you just need to take the next step, keep working hard and trust that the path will unfold as you go.
Life’s far too short to spend it worrying about what everyone else thinks you should be doing.
You’ve got to build a life that feels right for you.
And looking back at where it all started, I’m really rather grateful for how far it’s come — and excited to see where it goes next.
