At Speed for Sport Academy, we help children aged 6–16 get faster, move better, and build real confidence through fun, expert-led speed training. Based in LS11 and LS18, our sessions focus on sprint technique, agility, coordination, and movement skills that support all sports. Run by a former GB sprinter and experienced performance coach, we offer:
• Weekly small-group sessions
• 1-2-1 s

Just over a year ago, Harry came to me to work on his speed for tennis — and what a year it’s been.

Watching his progress has been brilliant. The work he’s put in is now showing where it matters most: out on court, competing and winning. Seeing that pay off in competition is exactly why I love this job.

I also love working across different sports. Tennis brings its own demands, and building speed that actually transfers onto the court has been a great challenge to get stuck into.

And Harry? He’s absolutely nuts 🤣 — in the best way. He keeps every session entertaining, and there's never a dull moment.

Proud of you, mate. Onto the next one. 💪🏽
