The Halifax Friendly Belles are delighted to confirm that Becky Barrett will be back for the 2026/27 season!

Another long-standing player heading into here fourth season with the Belles, Bex is fresh from the coaches accolades last season and keen to push on to continue her development and has already made a commanding start at the heart of defence.

⚽️ Halifax Friendly Belles 3–0 Hepworth United Ladies ⚽️

The Halifax Friendly FC Belles were back in action today after a couple of weeks off, producing a battling performance against a strong Hepworth side!

The Belles came flying out of the blocks, taking the game to their opponents from the first whistle. Just a minute in, Kiki Milsom was brought down but dusted herself off to step up and make it 1–0!

The pressure continued, and Natalie Simpson played Kiki Milsom through beautifully to double our lead and put the Belles firmly in control at 2–0.

The game continued at a great pace, and only some outstanding goalkeeping prevented the scoreline from getting even bigger!

Hepworth came out fighting in the second half, creating plenty of chances and turning the game into an end-to-end battle. But our back line of Paige Chantler-Dobson d, Becky Barrett and Vikki Murgatroyd stood firm, with keeper Olivia Robinson putting in a solid shift between the sticks! 🧤

At the other end, Kate Roberts Rochelle Mills and AJ linked up brilliantly to keep the Belles on the front foot and create more opportunities.

The icing on the cake came when captain Vikki Murgatroyd played Kiki Milsom through for her third of the afternoon, completing a fantastic hat-trick and sealing a 3–0 victory!

The Halifax Friendly Belles are delighted to confirm that Sophie Waterworth will be back for the 2026/27 season!

A true Halifax Friendly FC OG, Sophie is heading into her fifth season with the Belles, and what a contribution she’s made!! With consistent performances, defending that has kept us in games, Sophie leads from the front and gives everything for our team.

And who could forget that winning goal that sent everyone into absolute scenes?! 🤩🔥

🎃🩷 FANCY DRESS HALLOWEEN FUNDRAISER! 🩷🎃

This Halloween, we’re coming together for something very close to our hearts. 💕

Our Belles teammate Sam’s twin sister, Christine, is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. We want to show Christine that she has a whole team, club and community behind her! 🫶💗

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re hosting a Fancy Dress Halloween Fundraiser to raise money for York and Scarborough Hospitals Charity, York and Scarborough Hospitals, with proceeds going towards the Magnolia Centre at York Hospital, where Christine is receiving care.

We’d absolutely love for you, your friends and families to join us for a fantastic evening of Halloween fun, all while supporting a cause that means so much to us! 💗

The HFFC Belles are delighted to confirm that Catherine O’Neill will be back in the Belles squad for the 2026/27 season.
Catherine is a longstanding fan favourite, affectionately known as “Momma B” for her unwavering support of the players, caring nature, and ability to lift spirits both on and off the pitch.

As if her contribution wasn’t already immense, Catherine has also stepped up into the role of Assistant Manager, combining her leadership off the pitch with her commitment on it as she continues to ply her trade in Belles colours. ⚽️

The HFFC Belles are delighted to confirm that Vikki Murgatroyd will be back for the Belles for the 2026/27 season.

Vikki joined towards the end of the season playing in the last few games giving the team a huge boost with her no nonsense defending, goalkeeper cameo and who could forget trademark Pink Sunglasses!!

We are delighted to have Vikki will be our NEW vice captain for the coming season, this clearly demonstrates how important the Belles hold her!
