⛵ Community, confidence, and a whole lot of time on the water!

The last few weeks have been incredibly busy at McKenna's Seabreeze Water Skills. Alongside our popular Youth Sailing Weeks, we were proud to support the Gosport Summer Passport programme last Thursday at Lee-on-the-Solent seafront.

Throughout the day, nearly 100 children and young people experienced sailing through our taster sessions, many for the very first time. Inspiring the next generation to enjoy watersports is something we're truly passionate about.

The momentum continued over the weekend with our RYA Powerboat Level 2 course and Youth Club sessions making the most of the sunshine and excellent conditions.

Thank you to our dedicated team for delivering such a successful programme of activities, and well done to every student who got involved. We couldn't be prouder of what you've achieved.

🌊⛵ What a fantastic and busy weekend at McKenna’s Seabreeze Water Skills! 🚤🌊

Saturday saw another brilliant Youth Sailing Club session, while across the weekend we also delivered an RYA Adult Dinghy Level 2 course and an RYA Powerboat Level 2 course.

A huge congratulations to all of our students who successfully achieved their qualifications this weekend. Your enthusiasm, hard work and determination have been fantastic to see, and we're incredibly proud of what you've achieved.

A special thank you to James Oborne Coaching for joining us at Youth Club and supporting the development of both our young sailors and instructor team. Your knowledge, coaching and encouragement are greatly appreciated and help us continue to provide the best possible experience for everyone on the water.

Whether you're completely new to powerboating or looking to build confidence on the water, this practical two-day course will teach you how to safely and competently handle a powerboat in a variety of situations.

✅ No previous experience required�✅ Learn launching, recovery, close-quarters manoeuvring, and high-speed handling�✅ Recognised qualification used for leisure boating and watersports support roles�✅ Delivered by experienced RYA instructors
