π£ An update for our community π£
You may have seen recent news about changes to government funding for PE and school sport. For those who haven't, schools across the country are facing uncertainty around the future of the PE and School Sport Premium, a fund that has helped support sporting opportunities for children for many years.
While there is still much to learn about what these changes will mean in practice, we wanted to reassure our community that our commitment to supporting children, schools, and families remains unchanged.
For many years, we have worked alongside schools to provide high-quality PE, extracurricular clubs, competitions, events, and sporting experiences. Those opportunities have helped thousands of children become more active, develop confidence, build friendships, and discover a love for sport.
Although the funding landscape may be changing, our purpose is not.
We are already exploring ways to continue supporting our schools and ensuring children can access the opportunities they deserve. We know how important sport and physical activity are to young people's wellbeing, development, and enjoyment of school life, and we remain committed to being part of that journey.
As always, we will continue to work closely with schools and keep our community updated as plans develop.
Thank you for your ongoing support. Together, we will continue creating positive sporting experiences for the children and young people in our community π§‘
