Come along to Eastnor and support, the bar will be open for alcohol, soft drinks and teas/coffee.

Please note Land Rover have taken over the 3rd team ground for some promo stuff so parking in the top field is advised.

Today a mixed junior age group Eastnor team hosted touring side Appleton from Cheshire.
Appleton won the toss and elected to field first against Eastnor on a very warm afternoon of junior cricket.

Eastnor, captained by Oscar B-G, made the most of the opportunity to bat, putting together an impressive total of 261. Their innings featured some confident stroke play and good running between the wickets, while Appleton’s young fielders worked hard throughout, showing determination and never giving up despite the challenging total.

In reply, Appleton’s batters approached the chase positively, with several players making valuable contributions. Eastnor’s bowlers kept things tight, taking regular wickets and making it difficult for Appleton to build lasting partnerships. Appleton continued to battle until the final overs, eventually finishing on 162.

Although the result went Eastnor’s way with a convincing victory, both teams displayed excellent sportsmanship and enthusiasm throughout the match.

🏏 **New captain. New faces. Big occasion.**

Luke Powell will captain Herefordshire for the very first time when they take on first-class neighbours **Worcestershire** in the annual ECB Showcase Match at **Eastnor CC**.

With several regulars unavailable, it's a great opportunity for some exciting young talent to shine, including debutants **Archie Stevenson** and **James Cooley**, while **Freddie Ammonds** could also make his first appearance in county colours.

The squad also welcomes back **Indiana Jerram** and **Ollie Rogoff** as Herefordshire prepare for one of the highlights of the season.
