👶🏻Postnatal UpLift: The Beginning Courses:
We know that returning to exercise postnatally in a safe and supportive environment is important. That’s why our coach .mayson.coach developed our Postnatal UpLift: The Beginning Course.

These 6 week courses are designed to help you return to exercise safely postnatally, to rebuild coordination and strength of the postpartum core and to educate you on the changes that have happened with your body.

Our next courses are:
SOLD OUT: Mondays at 11.20am with .pt starting 6th Jan
SOLD OUT: Tuesdays at 11.30am with starting 21st Jan
Thursdays at 2pm with starting 16th Jan

Now we are familiar with why it’s important to strengthen our abdominals and how it’s supports our body as a whole but a neuroscientist has discovered the parts of the brain that control the core are the same as the glands that are responsible for the flight or fight response. By activating your core it stimulates these glands to downplay the release of the stress hormone cortisol in turn switching you out of your overwhelmed state. So that post Pilates happy feeling … it’s a real mind/body connection. Even more reason to take up Pilates! 😄
Try the hundreds, oblique curl ups and dead bug to tap into those abs.

Classes this term are back in action and I’m happy to get into the routine of teaching and seeing all my lovely clients. Get ready for classes filled with strengthening postural exercises, working the body as a whole whilst improving our mind and body connection and some funky little numbers to challenge us further.
