As the weather get's cooler, we've been busy organising the calendar of training clinics to take us to the end of the year.

Hi all
Don't forget...Surrey Police are coming to the Bookham Riding Club field on Saturday 22nd August to do free Saddle Security Marking - open to all - no booking required - just pop along with your saddles from 11am. They will probably be at the field for a couple of hours - but don’t leave it too late as once the queue has gone they may need to dash off!
Please feel free to message me if you have any questions and please drop a comment here or message me to let me know if you will be bringing saddles so we have a rough idea of how much time the police will need to allocate to us.

We’re looking forward to hosting the British Riding Clubs Area 11 dressage qualifiers tomorrow.
The grass has been cut and the field is looking beautiful thanks to TH Contracting & maintenance.
Note that there are road closures in Leatherhead so please check before you travel if you come from that direction.

For our dressage and clear round on Friday 5 June: Dressage times have been published on our website, clear round remains open for entry until Friday morning. All competitors, please note the following:

With the increase in cases of equine influenza across the country, we are taking the following steps with immediate effect for all competitions & clinics at Bookham RC.
In light of the current Equine Flu Outbreak we kindly ask all competitors and visitors to follow precautions to help minimise any risks while onsite.
For those attending forthcoming Shows and Clinics we will doing random spot checks on passports to anyone competing. PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR PASSPORTS WITH YOU TO THE VENUE. No passport – no entry!
Any lapsed/unvaccinated horses/forgotten passports, will not be allowed on site, and no refunds will be given if you are turned away.
When parking, please keep an adequate distance.
Please do not wait around outside the dressage or SJ arenas or bring round any horse that is not ready to warm up.
Please keep an adequate distance when warming up and a steward will call you when its your turn to Jump or Dressage.
After competing please return back to your lorry or trailer.
Do not touch, feed or interact with any horse other than your own and avoid any unnecessary contact between yourselves and other horses.
Thank you in advance for your co-operation whilst we work together to keep our horses safe.
