Warwickshire County Council is hosting an online workshop for cyclists and mountain bikers to discuss how public rights of way can be improved across the county.

Topics include:
✅ Issues faced by off-road cyclists and MTB riders
✅ Maintenance of public rights of way
✅ Opportunities to improve the network
✅ The role of volunteers
✅ Balancing the needs of different users
✅ Other concerns raised by participants

This is a great opportunity to help shape the future of cycling access and trail development in Warwickshire.

Mercia Cycles is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Bicycle Mechanic to join our team at our Newbold Comyn Cycle Hub in Leamington Spa.

This is a full-time position working in a busy workshop carrying out servicing, repairs, bike builds and helping customers keep their bikes running smoothly.

We're looking for someone who:
• Has experience working as a bicycle mechanic
• Takes pride in their workmanship
• Has good customer service skills
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Has a passion for cycling

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers and the local cycling club for their hard work during today’s litter pick! 👏🚴‍♂️🗑️

Together, they collected an incredible amount of rubbish from the trails and surrounding areas, helping to keep our parks and riding routes clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. 🌿

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who gave up their time to make a difference in the community. Your efforts really do have a positive impact.

This also serves as a reminder to all trail users — please respect the environment and take your litter home with you. Let’s all do our part to keep these beautiful spaces clean for everyone to enjoy. 💚

✅ Tiger Woods Trail Reopened ✅

Good news — the Tiger Woods Trail is now back open and rideable after the fallen tree was safely cleared from the trail.

A huge thank you to the local cycling club, Royal Leamington Spa Cycling Club (RLSCC), for their hard work and quick action in helping remove the tree and get the trail reopened for everyone to enjoy again.

We really appreciate the support from the local riding community 👏

Due to a fallen tree blocking the trail, the Tiger Woods Trail (final red) is temporarily closed until further notice for public safety.

Please do not attempt to pass the obstruction or enter the closed section of the trail while we work to clear it safely.

We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and cooperation. Updates will be posted once the trail has been reopened.
