⚫️🟡 St Laurence FC 1 - 4 Banchory Amateurs FC ⚪🔵
After a slow start Saints conceded early on at the second phase of a corner last Friday night. Banchory remained on top for the next 15 minutes and got their reward when their striker converted a cutback from the edge of the box.
Saints were gifted a lifeline when they were awarded a penalty. However the Banchory keeper made two excellent saves from the resulting spot kick and rebound.
Despite some sustained pressure and a few half chances it remained 2-0.
Half time 0 - 2
Second half again started slowly, and they were duly punished by conceding two goal's to kill the game early in the half.
The boys did keep battling to the end and got one back when Andy Howat poked in from a Ryan Laird flick on, but In truth it was no more than we deserved as we were well beaten on the night.
Best of luck to Banchory in the final.
