🏏 SRI LANKAN CURRY NIGHT IS BACK TONIGHT! 🍛
We are absolutely thrilled to welcome the Serendip team back tonight, and we are incredibly excited to dive into this amazing menu again!

The Details:

Time: Tonight, serving from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Dining Options: Eat-in or Takeaway

The Curries: Ceylon Chicken, Bentota Beef, Mutton, Sunny Vegan Veg, and Cashew Nut curries! (Served with basmati rice, dahl, and sambal).

Grab a drink from the bar, treat yourself to a fantastic meal, and enjoy some fantastic cricket while you wait or eat. Plus, there is plenty of action on the pitch to watch with two games currently playing: our 1st XI vs St Just, and the 2nd XI vs Bude!

It is the absolute perfect recipe for a gorgeous summer's evening down at the club. ☀️🍻

☔️🏏 Weekend Results 🏏☔️

The First XI lost a low scoring game away at Helston CC on Saturday, in a game reduced to 40 overs per side after morning rain. Losing the toss and bowling first, the hosts were dismissed for 137- Paul Smith leading the way at the back end with 3-39. Earlier on Dan Barnard struck in the very first over, and ended with figures exceptional figures of 2-11. His new ball partner Mark Taskis continued his fine form, with a new role this week, returning figures of 2-14. Ben Smeeth also picked up 2-24 with his off spin.
In reply, the chase never got going, Helston bowled well and we weren’t able to build any match winning partnerships, and were dismissed for 104- Adam Hodgson the only man to make any headway with 35.

The 2nd, 3rd and 4th XI games were all cancelled without a ball bowled.
We now look ahead to the weekend.

Mark Gribble certainly played his part in a record breaking day at Ladycross, with a superb 122no from 128 balls, 8 x 4s and 3 x 6s.

A quite ridiculous day last Saturday at Ladycross. As the 1st team passed 400 for the first time in its history, making 408 against Camborne CC.
With Dilly ( ) producing the most incredible innings we have ever witnessed at Werrington, with 223 from 126 balls, with 30 x 4s and 6 x 6s, absolute legendary stuff 👏🏼🙌🏼
