Phenomenal 2-3 away win to an unbeaten Gala Fairydean team today!
No subs and 2-1 down with 20 mins to go we went down to 10 men through injury.

We wrapped up the season on Saturday with our end of season presentation at the drum.

The boys had such a tough season but they still showed up every week and stuck by each other when most would have given up. If we could have given them all a trophy we would have cause they all deserved it. We're now going into u16's with a few new faces and bags of determination! Onwards and upwards boys! Mon the South 🇦🇹

Our boys really enjoyed this course especially being able to complete it doing what they love, well done Magpies ⚽

As a club we are always looking for ways to evolve. This year one of the first partnerships we formed was with Borders college.
We offered all 2008/2007/2006 teams in the boys pathway and u14s(those in 3rd year) u16 & u18s girls teams the opportunity to gain a SCQF level 4 in Association football and SCQF Level 5 in participation & performance in Football.

We seen 37 books checked and signed off and packaged up to be final marked by the college.

We are one of, if not the only grassroots club to offers this to our players.

It’s a great way to gain additional qualification that will help towards future life goals.

Well done to all the players that got this completed and thanks to the coaches for supporting the programme.

We look forward to offering this to the 2009s and u14s girls in the summer as well as those who competed level 4 moving on to level 5.
