Lasham Gliding Society A great place to learn to glide; with over 800 members and 20,000 glider flights each year. Welcome to the UK's largest gliding club.

We are located west of London on the Surrey/Hampshire border near Basingstoke & Alton. We offer you the chance to learn to glide, have a trial lesson, purchase gift vouchers for Christmas & birthdays for friends and loved ones or sign up for a gliding course run by fully qualified BGA instructors, Lasham has options for everyone of all experience levels whether you've never flown before or have experience elsewhere.

Huge congratulations to Andy Atkin, who completed his Silver Trio — Height, 5-hour and 50K — all in one memorable flight!

Flying the GHC Oly 2B, Andy departed Lasham and landed at Membury on 1st August, ticking off all three legs of the badge in a single flight.
