A fantastic performance in the penultimate match of the season from both 2018 teams today. Everyone worked tirelessly from start to finish, putting in strong challenges and showing some excellent passing throughout both games. Every player demonstrated great teamwork across the pitch. It’s brilliant to see their passion and determination. Each player has improved so much over the season — all the coaches are incredibly proud, keep up the good work 💪. Well done to everyone involved ⚽️👏

The 2010 squad were delighted to welcome Kai Foster back to visit his teamates during training tonight. The team marked the occasion by presenting him with a new iPad and a Liverpool shirt. We wish Kai a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back on the pitch with the team.

Over the past few weeks we’ve celebrated players from right across our youth section — recognising hard work, development, teamwork and dedication throughout the season ⚽🏆

From our youngest age groups taking their first steps in football, to our older teams continuing to grow together, every player should be incredibly proud of themselves 👏

A huge thank you to all of our coaches, volunteers, parents and supporters who continue to give their time and energy to the club week in, week out ❤️

Most importantly, thank you to the players for the memories, effort and smiles all season long 💙💛

Today’s 2010s 1st Team match was unfortunately abandoned following a serious injury to our player, Kai Foster 💙💛

On behalf of everyone at Wellington Rec, we would like to thank the SBYL, Carryduff Colts U16 coaches and players for their assistance, support and generosity during a difficult situation. Your sportsmanship and care did not go unnoticed 👏

We would also like to recognise our own players and coaches, who stayed by Kai’s side throughout while waiting for the ambulance, helping keep his spirits up and showing what being part of a team is really about ❤️

Football is bigger than results sometimes.

Everyone at the club is wishing Kai a full and speedy recovery — we’re all behind you 💙💛
