We are pleased to announce the recent medal upgrades for several members of our academy.

Riley and Ceejay have both achieved the Purple Grade. Lewis has advanced to the Yellow Grade, and Lucas has earned the Green Grade. Furthermore, Lewis has successfully upgraded to Green, Tyler to Green, Ben to Blue, and Amber, Tommy, and TJ have all advanced to Red.

A special commendation goes to Tommy, who now holds the highest score in our JDC academy. Congratulations, Tommy.

We also extend a warm welcome to Coach Gabriel, who has successfully completed his JDC Accreditation course.

We extend our sincere congratulations to TJ Campbell and Amber O'Toole on their qualification for the JDC Northern Ireland team. They are scheduled to compete in the Nations Cup in August.

Congratulations to our Nations Cup Team NI after a very high standard of darts right across today. They’ll go and do themselves, their clubs and NI proud this Summer we’ve no doubt 💚

Our Academy member, Amber, participated in the final NIDO Ladies major of the year, successfully reaching the Semi-finals. This marks her second Semi-final appearance in four NIDO Ladies competitions, alongside two Quarter-final finishes. We extend our sincere congratulations to Amber for her exceptional performance.

Yesterday, the NI Open, organized by the Northern Ireland Darts Organisation (NIDO), successfully returned. This event represented a significant milestone for many participants, offering an exceptional tournament atmosphere. It was a demanding long day for numerous players who competed in both adult and youth divisions.

Our own Dylan Mcallister and Amber O'Toole from Larne Darts Academy competed in both seniors and youth competitions. Unfortunately, the draw in the men's competition did not favor Dylan, as he was matched against a highly ranked senior Irish international. Onto the youth group stages, Dylan was unfortunatenot to get a few results to go his way. But he enjoyed the experience.

Amber, however, achieved remarkable success. In the Senior Ladies competition, Amber placed third in her group, narrowly missing qualification for the knockout stages based on leg difference, having won three out of five matches.

In the youth division, Amber dominated her group with a flawless performance, winning all three matches. This propelled her into the semi-final, where she decisively defeated her friend Ruth with a 3-0 victory.

Advancing to the final, Amber experienced her inaugural appearance on a prominent stage. She faced Olivia Heaton from England, a significantly more experienced competitor. Amber initially secured a 2-1 lead but ultimately lost the next three legs, resulting in a 4-2 defeat. Finishing Runner-up in her first major competition, NI Open Youth Girls.

On Wednesday evening, we conducted our medal grading for the most recent season of routines.

The Academy witnessed truly exceptional performances from all participants, with numerous individuals achieving new personal best scores.

Alfie - Achieved a new personal best high score and a new personal best overall average score.

Amber - Achieved a new personal best high score and a new personal best overall average score.

Andrew - Achieved a new personal best high score.

Charlie - Achieved a new personal best high score and a new personal best overall average score.

Cooper - As a newcomer, successfully entered directly into the Yellow Grade.

Dylan - Achieved a new personal best overall average score.

TJ - As a newcomer, successfully entered directly into the Green Grade.

Tommy - Achieved a new personal best overall average score.

Tyler - Achieved a new personal best high score and a new personal best overall average score.

Additionally, Rory, Joseph, and Lewis participated in and successfully obtained their grading through the new Equalizer grading system.

Our academy runs every Wednesday evening from 6:45pm to 8:15pm. New comers welcome. Boys and girls aged between 8 - 17. £5 per week.

Just to make parents aware, there are a few fake accounts popping up pretending to be darts management companies and sharing posts of some of the boys claiming they're new signings. Some have been reported and shut down. Always check with your academy director if you are ever unsure of anyone claiming to be a management company or potential sponsor.

🎯 Appreciation Post🎯

The Larne Darts Academy extends its commendation to Amber, our only girl within our academy. Amber, at 13 years old, has demonstrated exceptional progress in this year's N.I.D.O Ladies majors, achieving two Quarter-final placements and advancing to the Semi-finals yesterday, where she narrowly missed securing a spot in the final.

Well done to Amber, keep up the hard work, who knows what could be achieved.
