I’ve said this I don’t know how many times, but I’ll keep saying it…
Powerlifting doesn’t just make young people physically stronger. It builds stronger PEOPLE.
It teaches consistency, focus, discipline, dedication, resilience and self-belief — qualities that, to be honest, we’re seeing less and less of in young people nowadays.
And it doesn’t stop when they leave the gym.
It crosses over into education, work ethic, ambition, confidence, drive and the desire to actually succeed and do well in life.
We’re seeing it right in front of us. Our young lifters are smashing their GCSEs and A-Levels while still training and competing. Even the older lifters who came through youth powerlifting are now smashing university, careers and businesses — while STILL getting their training in and STILL competing.
That’s not a coincidence.
For any young person feeling lost, lacking direction or simply wanting to become a better version of themselves — DM us and get stuck in. Get around motivated people. Set goals. Learn to work for something. Become physically AND mentally stronger.
And to parents, I’ll scream it one more time…
INVEST IN THE RIGHT PLACES
Give them opportunities. Get behind them. Put them into a sport and an environment that teaches the work ethic, discipline and values that are disappearing far too quickly.
Iron sharpens iron. 🔥
