Wasnt to be for the lads today. We went 1-0 up in 1st half through a great free kick from Gary Gibson, that caused consternation in the 6 yard box and ended up in the back of the net, ⚽️, but we then conceded a goal when we had a strong penalty appeal turned down and conceded on the break away, whilst still appealing. We then hit the woodwork twice but couldn't get the 2nd goal, with the half ending 1-1.

Hillsborough took the lead early in the 2nd half with a good header from a corner, then we were up against it. Facing a strong wind, we just couldn't get the forward progress required to equalise and then got picked off on the break with a well taken 3rd goal for Hillsborough.

Special mention goes to our MOTM Tintin, who pulled off some outstanding saves in the 2nd half to keep us in the game. Thanks to Hillsborough for the game, played in good spirits and good luck to them for their next game.

This Sunday, we take on the 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗜𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 in a charity match to help fund their upcoming World Cup tournament ⚽️

We’ll also be raising money for important causes, including tackling violence against women, supporting mental health, and addressing homelessness among ex-service members.

There’ll be raffles, prizes, and a great day out for all the family 🙌

Huge game this Sunday for the lads away to Hillsborough. With the League games finished and final positions locked in, its onto the league playoffs for the silverware. If we lose, that's the end of the competitive TAHMI Invitational League season for us. Win and we progress to the Semi-finals. 💛💙⚽️🤞👍
