168KG ➡️ 129KG
Even though I’m not against peptides or weight-loss drugs in any way, this transformation was done without them.
One of my biggest concerns with losing weight quickly was loose skin. For me personally, I’d genuinely rather have been 168kg again than lose a massive amount of weight, lose my muscle and strength, and end up unhappy with what I saw in the mirror. Loose skin is my BIGGEST fear!
But I’m not a competitive strongman anymore and I can’t justify being a man mountain!!
Yes, the weight came off fast — but throughout the process my priority was to stay strong and hold onto as much muscle as possible.
That’s why I believe strength training is so important when losing weight.
The goal shouldn’t just be to make the number on the scales smaller. You want to come out the other side stronger, feeling good and happy with how you look.
Weight-loss jabs are helping a lot of people lose weight, and that’s great. But losing the weight is only part of the journey. If you’re not training and doing everything you can to maintain muscle along the way, you can reach your target weight and find yourself facing a completely different problem when you look in the mirror.
Lose the fat. Keep the muscle. Keep your strength.
If you’re on your own weight-loss journey and don’t know how to structure your training, drop me a PM.
Even working with me once a week, I can programme the rest of your sessions through my app, which walks you through everything stage by stage.
Don’t just aim to weigh less. Aim to become stronger.
