Langtree Lions ….Champions

Yes, we did it. I’m probably one of the few not nursing a banging hang over this morning following on from last nights celebrations.

It’s been a long season with bad weather cancelling game after game but somehow we always managed to get the result when needed. There have been some tough games with decent teams putting up some great battles so full respect to them.

A Big shout out to ALL of our supporters who turned up last night and throughout the season, it’s very much appreciated.

A week or so ago I posted a memory that came up dated 3rd May 2021 asking for Volunteers and players to start a Club, that Club has just won the league.

Well done the lads….

Morwenstow 3-5 Langtree Lions

I’ve not written much over the last few months but it seems like a good time to catch up on what’s happening. The guys have had a great season so far and are top of the league with just 1 more win from two game required to seal the title. Even now it’s not mathematically impossible that we haven’t already done this but to be sure one more win will do it.

So on Wednesday eve we travel to Hartland for a 6:30 pm KO.

If you can please come along and give the lads your support at this crucial time of the season.

Langtree Lions 3-2 Kingsley Wizzards

Our final HOME game of the season ended in a win for us. The game was high tempo with all players knowing what’s at stake.

Even the rain didn’t dampen our spirits as we head the table by 2 points and 4 games to go.

Thank you to the brilliant crowd that braved the weather, I hope you enjoyed the game. We finish our home games with an impressive 100% record of winning every one. Well done guys, let’s go and bring it home.
