My pay check is low and the number on the scales is high and actually I feel ok with that. I’ve spent most of my life striving for the opposite - and feeling lonely, disconnected and out of place. My work in progress is giving up the illusion that these things are the greatest measure of success. Time to be in nature, feeling a connection to this beautiful place, feeling at home and comfortable and happy in my own skin and authentically me - this feels like a better measure of success.
The practice of yoga is the practice of getting to know yourself better. The physical practice is the start of the journey.
