We welcome men and women of all skill levels—whether you’re looking to stay active, meet new people, or compete at the highest level of walking football. Godalming Walking Football Club is an inclusive, friendly, and competitive walking football club for adults wanting an alternative to normal football. Formed in 2017, we welcome men and women of all skill levels—whether you’re looking to stay act
ive, meet new people, or compete at the highest level of walking football. We run weekly evening sessions at King’s College, on a Friday, and Surrey Sports Park, on a Tuesday, in Guildford, and open to anyone in the wider Godalming, Guildford and Surrey area. Many members join simply for fitness, fun, and social connection, and your first session is free so you can try it out with no pressure. For those with a competitive streak, we field teams in the 45+, 50+, 60+, 65+ and 70+ age groups, playing in leagues across Surrey, Middlesex, Hampshire and Sussex. Several of our players have even represented England, and in 2024 our 60+ squad became the inaugural winners of the FA National Walking Football Cup at St George’s Park — a hugely proud moment for the club. Whether you’re returning to football, discovering the sport for the first time and just want to kick a ball around, or looking to compete at a high level, you’ll find a warm welcome, a thriving community, and a club built on enjoyment, fitness, and teamwork. Come along, get involved, and rediscover the love of the game — one step at a time. Godalming Walking Football Club Page Rules
