🎬 THAT’S A WRAP! 🎬

Today, we completed the final video for the ATTUNE Theraputic Parenting Award — and we are absolutely buzzing

LifetrainUK Learning Hub, which will be home to the ATTUNE Theraputic Parenting Award and many more exciting courses in the future.

It got so hot in the studio that the shorts had to come out — don’t worry, though, we made sure all the filming stayed safely above the waist! 😂🎥

This has been a huge project, and we could not have brought it to life without the incredible Shaun at Sussex Podcast Studio. His filming, editing, creativity and attention to detail have been outstanding.

Shaun, you’ve been an absolute star. Thank you for believing in our vision and helping us turn it into a reality!

The hard work isn’t over yet, but this is a massive milestone.

This is more than just an award.

It represents years of hard work, long days, difficult conversations, relentless determination and an unwavering belief that every child deserves to feel safe, understood and valued.

Everything we do is about looking beyond behaviour, understanding the story behind the child and supporting the incredible parents, foster carers, adoptive families and professionals who refuse to give up on them.

There have been moments when the journey has been exhausting. Moments when we have questioned ourselves. But we kept going because the children, young people and families we work alongside deserve nothing less.

Current reports say Essex libraries have been ordered not to promote LGBTQ+ and Pride events/materials by the new Reform-led Essex County Council.

I don’t usually get political on Facebook, but today I am absolutely appalled.

As a le***an activist for the last 30 years, I honestly feel like we have gone backwards in time. The reported decision to stop Essex libraries promoting LGBTQ+ and Pride events is not just disappointing — it is frightening.

This is not the Pride I fought for.

I fought for civil partnerships.
I fought for gay marriage.
I fought for freedom, visibility and safety.
I fought for adoption laws to change so LGBTQ+ people could build families without shame or discrimination.

I have written books and papers on this subject because I believe every child, every young person and every adult deserves to be seen, respected and protected.

And now, in 2026, we are seeing actions that feel like a return to the Thatcher years — when LGBTQ+ people were silenced, pushed out of sight and made to feel like they did not belong.

Libraries should be places of learning, safety, inclusion and community. They should never become places where people are erased.

We should all be outraged. This is not just an LGBTQ+ issue — this is about freedom, equality and human dignity.

This needs challenging by everybody. Silence is not an option.

Exciting news from LifetrainUK
Our ATTUNE Parenting App will soon be opening for a new cohort.
The app has been designed to support parents, foster carers, adoptive parents and professionals who are caring for children and young people with trauma, attachment difficulties, neurodiversity, emotional regulation challenges and behaviours that can feel hard to understand.
ATTUNE offers practical, compassionate and easy-to-follow guidance, helping carers move away from blame and punishment and towards connection, understanding and emotional safety.
