🔥 Windlesham House done!

24 Eagles took on the 4.52 mile course, climbing 118m up to the top of the downs. We picked up 111 points to keep us in 4th place in the league.

With just 3 races left, we need one final push to hold onto that 4th spot! 🦅💙 Other clubs are closing the gap, so let’s get as many Eagles out there as possible for the final races and keep those points coming! How incredible would it be to finish 4th overall in our 40th anniversary year...

What a great penultimate event in the Lancing Eagles Parkrun Series at Wakehurst parkrun last Saturday! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Laura & Adam tied for 1st place, both finishing just 2 seconds outside their predicted times! Nik took 3rd, finishing 20 seconds faster than predicted. 👏

With 5 of 6 events now completed, Nik has climbed to the top of the overall standings, with Roger in 2nd and Adam in 3rd. It’s all to play for in the final event! 🔥

Well done to everyone who made it up to Wakehurst 🦅🌳🏃‍♂️

The Eagles did beat the tide! 💪🌊

It was a fantastic showing from 10 of our runners at the Beat The Tide 2026 race in Worthing last Thursday! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A huge well done to everyone who took on the sunny and warm conditions, with a special shout-out to Nic for an incredible 4th-place finish overall! 👏🔥

Highdown Hike done! 🥾⛰️

A brilliant evening race for the Lancing Eagles, with 33 Eagles taking on the 5 mile route in perfect conditions under a setting sun. 🌅

We picked up 110 points to maintain our 4th place in the league — not bad for a tough, hilly one with 130m of elevation! 💙💛

Fantastic effort from everyone! 🦅👏

Our parkrun series continued on Saturday with our fourth of six events at Seaford Beach parkrun. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A fantastic performance saw Nik take the win, with Katharine finishing second and just edging Roger into third. Laura and Liam also matched each other perfectly, both placing 16th in their respective categories.

With four of the six events now complete, it's still all to play for. Simone and Roger are currently tied at the top of the standings—but with two events left, anything can happen! 👀

The heatwave certainly hasn't slowed our Eagles down! ☀️🏃

Last Friday, a fantastic group of Eagles were up at the crack of dawn to take on the 5:30am Brighton race before work – what a way to start the day! 💪

Others kept the momentum going with parkrun over the weekend, before we all came together for our Wednesday training session. We rounded off the evening by cheering on the football together 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 – a great reminder that our club is about more than just running 💙💛

✨ Presenting… The Lancing Eagles 40th Anniversary Retro Runway ✨

To celebrate 40 years of Lancing Eagles, our members raided the club archives and brought some legendary Eagles kit back to life! 🦅🏃‍♂️

From vintage vests to classic race tops, this was part fashion show, part trip down memory lane — and proof that while running kit evolves, club spirit never goes out of style 💚🖤

40 years of racing, friendship, support and community — and we’re still flying strong.
