Today is World Food Safety Day and we are celebrating this years' theme of "From Burden to solutions - safe food everywhere", to highlight the importance of food safety.

Unsafe handling and preparation of foods cause hundreds of millions of illnesses every year and a lot of this can be preventable. Ensuring safe food at your establishment is a shared responsibility and something that LMC can help with.

We run a Food Allergen Awareness course on campus so that you and your team can gain knowledge of food allergens, food intolerances and the importance of good practice. This regulated and nationally recognised qualification has been specifically designed for people who are working in, or preparing to work in a food handling, food retail or food manufacturing role.
