After undergoing a muli-million pound development, the centre boasts a plethora of exciting facilities, such as: Energy indoor soft play, XHeight indoor climbing and Gravity outdoor flight tower (the first in Europe!). Additionally, we have a 33m indoor swimming pool with slide, sports hall, athletics track, outdoor cycle track and a top of the range 100 station gym, Immersive studio and functional training suite. For the under 8s, there is Open Ayre - comprising of Engergise and Salt Ayre Drive, our FREE outdoor play areas, and also Tee Time family golf. Working in partnership with University of Cumbria, we’re delighted to continue offering our customers access to an affordable clinic right here at Salt Ayre.

The clinic is run by 2nd & 3rd year University of Cumbria students, under qualified guidance, and offers:

💡 Injury advice & guidance

💷 £17.50 per hour-long appointment

Jill is such a huge part of our Salt Ayre Gymnastics family. Her passion, knowledge and dedication to gymnastics shines through in everything she does. 💚

She has played a massive part in supporting and developing our gymnasts over the years, helping them reach their potential, build confidence and thrive. 🌟

KAREN IS TAKING ON 13.1 MILES! ❤

You may know our lovely Karen from behind reception, or from the pool where she also works as one of our swim teachers, but on Sunday the 11th of October she’ll be swapping Salt Ayre for the Royal Parks Half Marathon! 🏃‍♀️

Karen is taking on the challenge to raise money for Abigail’s Footsteps 👣

It’s a brilliant challenge for a brilliant cause, and we’d love for our Salt Ayre community to get behind her!

👏 Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help support this amazing charity.

🌟 Colleague of the Month - Gemma 🌟

A huge congratulations to Gemma from our Tranquil Spa team, our Colleague of the Month! 👏

Gemma consistently receives lovely feedback from her clients, who regularly tell us how welcoming and professional she is. She always goes above and beyond in her work, supporting the team and stepping in to provide extra cover whenever needed.

A very well-deserved recognition - thank you Gemma for everything you do! 💆‍♀️✨

We also wanted to give a special shout-out to Paul B from our Health & Fitness team and Hayley from Refuel Café, who have both gone above and beyond recently. 👏

Paul continues to receive fantastic feedback from members who really appreciate the support and encouragement he provides on the gym floor, while Hayley recently showed incredible initiative during an emergency situation, stepping in without hesitation to help a young child and their parent.
