We have been getting a lot of comments lately from non members and players in the Lunesdale League about how amazing our course is looking 👀

We are extremely lucky to have 2 great green keepers who take pride in how the course looks.

This is the last year as Lansil as we know it so why not pay us a visit?

Green fees are:
9 holes - £15
18 holes - £20 (without member)
£15(with member)

On Sunday it was our 2026 Captains Drive In. A great time was had by all our members.

The legend that is Billy Ashton has been a member at Lansil for many years and now has the privilege of being our 2026 Captain.

Billy's charity's this year are Rosemere Cancer Foundation and The British Heart Foundation.

Everyone at Lansil wishes you all the very best for your year in Captaincy Billy.

Is watching the Masters making you itch for a knock?

Here at Lansil we have frozen our prices again for the third year.

Why not take advantage of the Winter fees which are currently only £10 for 9 or 18 holes?

Winter fees are only in place until 12th April.

Summer fees start on 13th April which are:

£15 for 9 holes
£20 for 18 holes
£15 for 9 or 18 with a member

This week we have been doing the Autumn Greens Renovation. Firstly we gave the greens a deep Vertidrain, we do this to relieve compaction in the surface, this also helps with drainage and it also let’s oxygen into the root zone.

After the Vertidrain, we followed behind top dressing, we do this to make the putting surface smoother and truer, it also helps reduce the thatch build.

Massive thank you to our Greenkeepers Brandon and Neil for all their hard work. It really is appreciated by every golfer who plays the course 👍
