Leisure Lakes Bikes is an expanding bicycle retailer, currently operating 11 stores nationwide along with a successful mail order and e-commerce operation.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We are currently looking to hire a full time experienced bicycle mechanic to join the team at our Preston Hub store. Applicants must be Cytech trained to at least level 2 and also have knowledge and understanding of current/modern suspension bikes and road bikes.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Any candidates who have any experience with sales and customer facing interactions would be preferred, with a good knowledge of all bikes from commute, road, hybrids etc, to full suspension, electric mountain bikes and beyond. Due to the size of the store, there will be some crossover with a sales assistant role, and we are passionate about providing great customer service to our diverse customer client base.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

While not essential, we would like hear from candidates who are competent with computers and till systems, as it is part of the job role. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The Job role would include the following:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- The repair and service of customer bikes.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Assisting customers with potential service work and pricing of workshop jobs.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Assisting customers with advise on potential purchases.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Pre-Delivery inspections for new bike that are sold.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Diagnosing faults and pricing up repair work.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Working to a scheduled job list, with potential for unscheduled work i.e. walk in repairs.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Staff training evenings or customer maintenance evenings may be required to work outside of the normal work hours.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
